Getting Ready For Amazon Prime Day 2019 (Part 2)

Getting Ready For Amazon Prime Day 2019 Part 2

So in part 1 of “Getting Ready For Amazon Prime Day 2019” I went over a few things.  Like what was Amazon Prime, deals to expect, why you needed an Amazon Prime Membership, and of course the dates.  By the way Amazon Prime 2019 is set for July 15th and July 16th.  48 hours of ridiculous sales and deals on millions of Amazon items.  This is a follow up post whether you have your prime membership or not.

*Note: you will definitely need an Amazon Prime Membership for those 2 days of shopping!

It’s ok if you don’t have a membership or are unsure on whether or not to get it.  Just remember you can try it out for 30 days free.  In fact you can sign for free today because Amazon Prime Day is well within your 30 days of free use.

How To Spot The Best Amazon Prime Deals

There literally will be thousands upon thousands of deals to check out across every product category on Amazon’s massive online storefront.  Honestly most of these discounts will be the best you’ll see until Black Friday so definitely take advantage of that.

Part of Prime Day’s fun comes from buying things that you didn’t expect to buy and maybe didn’t even budget for. Based on last year’s Prime Day, there will be new Lightning Deals every few minutes of the 48-hour stretch, and they’ll often be pretty good products, too.

More conservative buyers will have a slightly different strategy.  They don’t want to break their budget purchasing anything and everything that looks good. So they will make a wish list and stick to it (or try to). Do you want to make sure that you get everything that’s on your wish list?  I have good news: you don’t need to have a tab for each item constantly refreshing on your browser. There are a few strategies you can use to make sure that you don’t miss out on a really good deal.  Luckily none of them involve being glued all day long to your computer or phone.

First, I recommend creating a price alert for each product that you’re interested in.  Especially if you have other things to do during Prime Day 2019. The alert will do all of the leg work.  This will let you know when your wishlist item has reached your desired price and crucially, if it has sold for that price before.

In my final 3rd part of this blog I will be posting a lot of the deals you can expect to see as well as deals currently in play.  I hope you enjoyed this blog post and good or bad please feel free to leave a comment below.

Until next time
